Be the change you want to see in the world
-Mahatma Gandhi
The Bonita Springs Assistance Office is fortunate to work in a community that is caring and generous as Bonita Springs. We are aware that our volunteers have an altruistic spirit and want to put their talents, experience and desire in helping our community. We thank you for choosing our organization as a place for you to contribute to the community, spend your time and make new friends. We also know that many volunteers come with other motivations such as to get out of the house, to try a new career, to make a transition to a new life, to learn something new, as an academic/job requirement, as personal growth, as continue with a personal tradition or choice of serving, etc.
At BSAO we value your motivation and want to open our door to you to bring the best that you have and want to offer. We our proud to live up to our philosophy of providing a hand up, not a hand out and you with your experience can help us to promote well being and progress to those who are going through difficult times in their lives.
Staff members and volunteers come together at Bonita Springs Assistance Office to work toward achieving our mission, goals and objectives of the organization. Both contribute in significant ways and volunteers are seen to compliment the work done by paid staff. Volunteers do not replace or displace staff positions. We value the experience and insights of both paid and volunteer staff and encourage feedback about our organization, process and programs. Such feedback can be passed through the case manager or volunteer coordinator.
